About Us
Here at Longgun Goldens, we feel that the best way to showcase our beautiful dogs is to show you what they do best! We enjoy participating and training in obedience, field and hunt work and throw in the odd Conformation Show to prove they have beauty and brains! We are members in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club and BARCK (Bancroft Area Recreational Canine Klub).
Among other things, we believe that health and temperament are above all, the most important to ensure we are passing on great genes to our puppies and producing the best Goldens we possibly can! We look for natural abilities in field work and trainability for obedience. All of our breeding dogs have health clearances for hips, elbows, eyes and heart and we look for the same things in stud dogs we choose to breed our girls to. We also guarantee our puppies for all of these hereditary problems for 2 years. We raise our puppies in our family home and are available at any time for the life of our puppies to answer any questions or address any concerns you may have.
We also believe in a combination of holistic/natural and conventional methods when raising our puppies. We do our best to provide the most natural whole foods possible and although we try to manage the rearing of our puppies to the best of our abilities, we do call upon our trustworthy vet when needed. Our puppies have their first shots, a complete vet checkup, have been de-wormed, dewclaws removed are CKC registered and are micro-chipped before leaving for their new homes.

We are also willing to ship puppies under certain circumstances.
